Hi everyone, I’m switching things up today with a food post! I don’t quite remember how it happened, but sometime last week, I decided that I was going to buy donut pans. I’ve wanted these things for ages. I actually used to bake a lot-at least two or three times a week. There was a time I even considered going to pastry school. Life and being an “adult” (ew) got in the way, though, and now I’m lucky if I bake something once every few months. In the interest of fun, sweets, and rekindling an old passion, I picked out this pan and this pan on Amazon. Today is my first day off work since they arrived, and you better believe I got to baking straight away. I used this very easy recipe from Joy the Baker, and I’m so happy with how they turned out. If you’ve never had baked donuts before, they’re a lot more cake-like and dense than traditional fried ones, but these in particular are very light and airy, and obviously more healthy 🙂
