I think about this all the time and was wondering if anyone else has the same problem I do. Are there some beauty-related habits you just can’t seem to make a regular part of your routine? I’m so good about some things. I always, always take my makeup off before bed, I always wear SPF, I even floss pretty regularly, but there are two things I just can’t seem make myself do every day.
The first is to use body lotion every morning and night. It’s something I really, really want to do since I suffer from perpetually dry, itchy skin, especially on my legs. I recently bought some lotion specifically made for extremely dry, rough skin called AmLactin. I’ve been hearing about this all over the internet this year and finally decided to pick some up. I put it off because it’s a bit more expensive than most drugstore lotions, but I’ve read that for some people, this is the one thing that has finally cured lifelong dry skin. I’ve used it a couple times so far, and I really like it, but not enough that I find myself making time to use it twice a day. I might do a full review after I’ve used it a bit more.
The second is to use cuticle oil. Whenever I see girls on Instagram post pictures of their nails, I get so jealous! My cuticles are always dry and cracked. I’ve had the Butter London Handbag Holiday Cuticle Oil for a couple years now, and I use it occasionally. I will say, when I do use it, it works wonderfully. However, the scent is very strong, and I think that’s something that keeps me from using it every day. Any recommendations for a more lightly-scented cuticle oil out there?
