Jordana recently came out with two new products, the Sweet Cream Matte Liquid Lipsticks and the Made to Last Liquid Eyeshadows. I was really excited about the liquid lipsticks, since I’ve been wanting to try some different brands, and Jordana is super affordable, but alas, the one display I found in all of New York City was completely sold out! The Walgreen’s associate I spoke to said they would not be receiving any more until Jordana was making them a permanent item in the collection, but she didn’t know when that would be. So, I settled for trying out two of the new liquid eyeshadows. They sell for $4.99 each, and I really like them! I picked out two colors, Immortal Metal, a cool-toned metallic color, and Dusk Till Bronze, a true warm bronze.
When I wore these, I first primed my eyelids with the Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Primer. The spade-shaped applicator makes it easy to lay the color on the eye with precision. I focused the color on my mobile lid, making sure not to put it too high to avoid getting glitter in and above my crease. Then, I gently blended the edges with my finger. I had no difficulty blending, and I think these can easily be worn alone. I did chose to blend them out slightly more with a neutral matte shadow, a matte gray for Immortal Metal, and a matte brown for Dusk Till Bronze. The eyeshadow sets after a minute or two, and the color remains intensely metallic throughout the day. I didn’t experience any creasing with either color. Immortal Metal is surprisingly glittery. You can’t tell from the swatches on my hand, but you can see more easily that on my eye, there’s a good bit of glitter going on. With this color, I found the glitter to migrate around my eye area throughout the day, which was disappointing. Dusk Till Bronze is less glittery, and I think the color is more flattering on me, so it’s definitely my favorite of the two.
For $4.99, you’re getting a long-lasting, intensely metallic liquid eyeshadow. I recommend picking up Dusk Till Bronze for sure!
