Favorite Beauty Products of 2014!

2014 was a great year for me and makeup. I experimented more with eyeshadow, mascara, and eyeliner, and I finally became comfortable with my brow routine. I found concealers that worked for me, and I finally picked up the holy grail of skincare tools. If you’re curious, here are my favorite products of the past year…

Urban Decay Naked 3 palette | My husband (then fiancé) treated me to this gorgeous palette right after the holidays last year, and it’s been my go-to for more dramatic, rosey eye looks ever since. Apparently, this is a love it or hate it palette, but I’m firmly on the love it train. The colors work so, so well with my greenish brown eyes. It’s close to perfection for me.

Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation | This has been my favorite foundation since the day I bought it. It just works so well for me. It doesn’t cling to my ever-present dry patches, and it has a good amount of coverage without being cakey.

Make Up For Ever Full Cover Extreme Camouflage Cream | Finally, a concealer that doesn’t crease under my eyes! Hallelujah! It’s waterproof, and it actually stays put throughout the day.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer | This concealer is so pigmented and creamy. It does a fantastic job of covering up redness and blemishes. I love it.

L’Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream | By far, my most-used base product of the year. I’ve loved this BB Cream for a looong time, and it never disappoints. It has great coverage, and it may be the only base product I own that does not crease around my nose, which makes it absolutely indispensable.

Anastasia Brow Wiz | What can I say about this that hasn’t already been said? I really don’t think I’ll ever need another brow pencil for as long as I live, because this one is freaking perfect.

Maybelline The Rocket Waterproof Mascara | Until earlier this past year, I was a die hard fan of Covergirl Clump Crusher, but when I wanted more volume and longer-lasting curl, I turned to The Rocket and haven’t looked back.

Chloé Eau de Parfum | Shockingly, I found a new perfume to love this year. I’m incredibly picky when it comes to fragrances, since a lot of them tend to make me feel nauseous, but this one is heavenly. I feel chic and ladylike when I wear it.

Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liners | I, like many others in 2014, jumped on the lip pencil bandwagon. I tried several brands, but my favorite were by far these retractable ones from Rimmel. Can the beauty industry please make it a resolution to create more retractable lip and eye liners in 2015? I HATE sharpening pencils!

Maybelline Color Elixirs | These glosses were my most used lip products of the year. I was never a gloss person until I tried these. If you haven’t picked one of these up yet, I highly recommend the color Caramel Infused!

Josie Maran Watercolor Cheek Gelée | The prettiest blush I own. I think I used this every day throughout the month of August.

Clarisonic Mia | I coveted this for so long. Years. I finally took the plunge in August, and I’m happy to say I was not disappointed. I love using this so much that I think I overdo it sometimes. I love the deep clean feeling it gives.

Maybelline Master Glaze Blush Stick in Make a Mauve | Wow, four of my thirteen favorites are from Maybelline! I think these are really underrated blushes. I particularly love this dusky rose color for fall and winter.

There you have it! If you had to narrow it down to ONE favorite product of 2014, what would you pick? I *think* I would have to go with the Anastasia Brow Wiz!

Oh! And my favorite of 2014 would be the Lorac Mega Pro. I wanted to review it so bad, but it sold out before it even shipped to my house!

I feel you on the Mega Pro! I got one and posted swatches on here, but it was kind of pointless since it sold out so quickly and most people weren’t able to get it! :/

The Covergirl 3-in-1 foundation is my Holy Grail. I keep trying other things, but none stack up!
